Team Feature: Philip Tschritter
Rob Thibault
Last week, we kicked off our series featuring the hard working, efficient, and hilarious SNOWCLEARED Team! We wanted to begin to introduce you to the faces behind the business. Who makes this team run? Today we wanted to introduce you to, Philip Tschritter.
Read along as we took a few minutes to ask Philip a few questions between shifts! That he even took the time to answer our questions in the thick of the winter season makes him a real champ! But that’s just who Philip is.
How did you first hear of TBO's Snow & Ice?
I bought a salter from Rob of Craig’s list and soon found out we new similar people and before the end of our transaction…I was joining the team!
When did you join the team?
I first became a member of the team in 2013.
What are you responsible for?
I’m a crew leader for the SNOWCLEARED team and also run two of my own trucks.
What do you love most about your job?
I really love completing a job. I also love happy customers! I also love working with my dad. He's a pretty important piece of my crew and the larger SNOWCLEARED team. It's pretty special that two generations of Tschritters get to do something they love.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
You don’t sleep in this job!
What is one piece of advice you would give to folks in the market for snow and deicing services?
Start small or with what you have and go for it. Don’t be afraid to use older equipment until it can be paid off and you can upgrade!
Says Rob, “Phil is one in a million. A real beast. He’s a responsible crew leader and keeps the wheels on the bus even when the storm seems to have an endless rage. Phil has a heart of gold. He and his Dad are a rock-star team (think - Orange Country Choppers), and our clients always come away happy after a visit from Phil and his intensely focused crew. We are grateful for team members like Phil who make the SNOWCLEARED organization what it is today!”
Our team wouldn’t be what it is without you, Phil! Stay tuned for our next feature!
