TBO On The Ready

Rob Thibault

You may be asking yourself, what does an average day in the life of a TBO Snow & Ice Removal Management team member look like?

A TBO Snow & Ice Removal Management team member often stays up until the wee hours of the morning, working hard to make commercial and residential parking lots and outdoors spaces safe for tenants, clients, and customers from around the city to use as soon as they wake up! But there is a lot of work that happens before the actual ploughing, salting, or brining can get underway.

Watch the Clock, Search the Sky:

TBO founder and Snow Manager Extraordinaire Rob Thibault is committed to monitoring the weather forecast almost 24 hours a day, paying special attention to temperature and the Possibility of Precipitation rates.

Moment of Truth:

By 6:00pm, Rob is required to make a decision regarding the services needed for each client that day. Taking into account ongoing and predicted rates of snow and temperature rates, he determines that day and evening’s schedule, creating an expert team and exact schedule in keeping with TBO’s commitment to give each and every client prompt, trusted, and proactive service. Priority clients are emailed 4 hours in advance to provide them with enough time to cancel the automatic service should they so desire.

Picking the Pickup:

TBO has a large fleet of machines at its disposal to get the job done right. If you are a client who has signed up for our salting or brining service, Rob must determine whether you can be best served through the use of a gas or hydraulic salter. If you have signed up for one of our snow removal packages, he must determine whether a hydraulic or silent plow or even a bobcat can do the job best.

On the Job:

The rest is simple. After a day spent closely monitoring snowfall and temperature, determining the need for action, and picking out the perfect tool in his fleet, Rob and his trust TBO Snow & Ice Management team go to countless warehouses, stratas, shipping yards, and strip malls, removing ice and snow one space at a time. The fleet is already on the road with their assignments by 6:00pm, with clearing going until approximately 4:30am, barring the need for continuous 24 hour service in the case of emergency.

Be prepared for winter's surprises, and let us help you have liability-free peace of mind.
