Today is our favourite day of the week. We get to keep sharing the faces behind the unparalleled one-of-a-kind SNOWCLEARED team members! (No, we aren’t biased!) We wanted to continue introducing you to the people who make this work possible. Who makes this team run? Today we wanted to introduce you to, Trevor Kutny.

Read along as we took a few minutes to ask Trevor a few questions about his time with SNOWCLEARED!

How did you first hear of TBO's Snow & Ice?

My good friend and colleague put me in touch with Rob and told me I should give snow clearing and deicing a try. And he was right!

When did you join the team?

I joined the TBOs team in November 2018 just ahead of the 2018/2019 winter season.

What are you responsible for?

I'm responsible for providing the best quality service I can provide to our clients. Sometimes that's clearing snow all night during a winter storm. Sometimes it's deicing parking lots and sidewalks on cold frozen nights. And sometimes it's driving out to check on a property to make sure the client is getting a great service.

What do you love most about your job?

The thing I love most about my job is the challenge. There is no shortage of problems to be solved during a snow storm. And there is no better feeling than finding a solution to overcome those problems.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

There is one thing that stands out beyond the challenges of equipment break downs, sometimes impossible seeming site requirements, and a daunting work load. That is long nights and fatigue. Nothing is better at adding to a challenge than exhaustion and fatigue. I still revel in the challenge though.

What is one piece of advice you would give to folks in the market for snow and deicing services?

My best advice would be, BE PREPARED. Winter comes every year!

Says Rob, “Trev is a core part of our team. He i s solutions driven and inspired rather than intimidated by a problem. He’s got a sharp mind solving problems under pressure. Trev will stick to a hard job, keep a clear head, and pull the team through all those long nights. We couldn’t be more grateful for team members like Trev who make the SNOWCLEARED the organization it is today!”

Our team wouldn’t be what it is without you, Trevor! Stay tuned for our next feature!
